CNC TURN / LATHE OPERATOR - 2nd shift

Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced 2nd shift Turn / Lathe CNC Operators who wish to develop his or her career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship.

2nd shift offers a generous shift differential 3:
30pm-12:
00am Mon-Fri OT may be required as needed Hi-Tek is a Drug-Free Workplace and conducts pre-employment drug and background screening and random drug screening.
Essential Duties and Tasks:
Operate regular (horizontal) or VTL (vertical) lathe machines Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.
Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes Maintain working knowledge of rotary/linear axes Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances Operate overhead crane when necessary Report proper labor hours in the ERP system Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned Demonstrates the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.

Good and reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a must Physical Conditions:
Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
Perform under AS9100 standards Qualifications, Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required Lathe, Shaft, or Turning experience required - Min 1 yr.
Ability to perform basic math functions Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident This job description is a tool to be followed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
